Short-term Goals
It is proposed to establish a ‘Center of Excellence in Wind Energy Technology’ to conduct research work, and to offer Diploma, U.G. and P.G. level courses on Wind Energy and Wind Turbines.   It is also proposed to establish an “Advanced Vibrations Laboratory” for testing macro- and micro structures.

Long-term Goals
Establishment of centers of excellence in the core areas of Aeronautical Engineering to take up research projects from National and International funding agencies.
