Hindustan Aeronautics Limited premier Ministry of Defence, Navratna Company specializing in Military aircraft has selected Park college of Engineering and Technology along with IITs to conduct a special course on Aerospace Engineering and Production Technology to their Executive and Management Trainees and so far 460 trainees have been trained by the department from the year 2005.
The college has trained Civilian Technical Personnel of Indian Air Force.
The college has imparted advanced conversion training to 40 senior Engineers of Lakshmi Machine Works on Aerospace and Production Technology.
Department organized NASAS XV (Fifteenth National Seminar on Aerospace Structures on 15 to 16th Oct 2007. This DRDO (Ministry of Defence, Govt of India) conference was conducted in a private college for the first time.
Two short term courses Master Diploma in Aircraft Design (6 month) and Modeling in Pro-E (6months) are being conducted by the Department to enhance the Industry Readiness capability of students.
Aero students have been the recipient of gold medal and ranking in the university examination almost on regular basis.
So far about 110-120 aero alumni have completed PG. Two have received Ph.D and eight have registered for Ph.D.
