Electrical And Electronics Engineering

Welcome to the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) of PCET. The department was started with an intake of 60 in the year 1997 and to an increased strength of 120 in 2006. The asset of the department is its highly qualified faculty members with excellent academic records and well established laboratory facilities since its inception. The department organises various value added programmes, seminars and workshops for the benefits of the students and faculty members. It also continuously coordinates with the college training and placement cell to provide opportunities for its students in core areas of electrical and electronics engineering and software development. A good number of students are placed in various prestigious companies in India and abroad, and the alumni have pursued and pursuing higher studies at various leading universities across the globe.

Programs Offered




  • Our Department is dedicated to expose students to industrial practices for enabling them confidently to face the problems in the industry and to prepare the young technical professionals to inculcate inquisitiveness and curiosity thereby nurturing their intellectual growth to cope with rapid changes in technology.



  • To provide good education, Practical orientation and extra curricular skills to develop the sense of responsibility, human values and social consciousness among students to face the world as competent professional and useful citizen.


Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)


Graduates will be to develop the student’s capabilities and to make them innovative and competent so that they can be successfully employed in Indian and Multinational companies.


Graduates can T transform the students into IT professionals who can successfully complete hardware and/or software related engineering project in order to meet customer business objectives and/or productivity engage in research.


Graduates will have  sound  foundation  in  the  mathematical,  scientific  and engineering  fundamentals  necessary  to  formulate,  solve  and  analyze engineering problems.


Graduates will be ethical and responsible engineers who can work in a multidisciplinary environment, and also will remain informed and involved as full participants in their profession and in the society.
