    LABORATORY FACILITIES


    1. Electrical Machines Laboratory:

    It is one of the main labs which help the students to perform experiments in both D.C and A.C machines to know their characteristics from which they come to know about application of such machines on day today life.

    2. Measurements and Instrumentation Laboratory:

    It is one the main laboratories which help the students to know about the methods of measuring various physical & electrical quantities, Calibration of equipments & simulation techniques.

    3. Microprocessors and Micro Controllers Laboratory:

    The lab is well equipped with sufficient Microprocessors (µp) and Microcontrollers (µc) kits as well as RIDE software with enough PCs. The lab helps the students acquire knowledge in programming the µP & µC which are the main blocks for embedded solutions, useful for their projects.

    4. Electronic Devices and Circuits Laboratory:

    The lab helps the students to analyze the characteristics of various electronic devices like Diode, SCR, Transistor family and Oscillators. It helps the students to design the PCB's.

    5. Electric Circuits Laboratory:

    Students work out practically the various network theorems & resonance conditions of various AC circuits. The lab provides the knowledge of the characteristics of passive elements when used in networks & the behavior of current & voltage in electric networks.

    6. Control Systems Laboratory:

    The lab is equipped with the required equipments to study about the transfer function parameters of various motors, P, PI & PID controllers. It also gives the knowledge of digital simulation software's like MATLAB

    7. Power System Simulation Laboratory:

                The lab provides the software development skills and experience in the usage of standard packages necessary for analysis and simulation of power system required for its planning, operation and control.

    8. Power Electronics Laboratory:
    The lab provides the knowledge of the characteristics of switching devices and its applications in rectifier, inverter, chopper and resonant converter.

    9. Electrical Workshop:

    It is the lab for beginners. The students from all disciplines get the basic knowledge of electricity and the connection for various electrical equipments & the safety precautions to be followed while working in current at all situations are being taught.

    10. Electronics Design Laboratory:

                It is the lab for beginners .Making the students aware of hardware kits and teaching them how to build an hardware kit.

    11. Electrical Drives and Control Laboratory:
    The lab provides the knowledge of the Electrical Drives System and their control characteristics.
