The library will be kept open on all working days between 9.00 am and 7 pm Students can borrow books between 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. Silence is maintained strictly in and around the library. The college Library has been ever growing with a collection of 21,115 Books with 9385 Titles in various Branches of Engineering Technology and Sciences. The Library is subscribing for periodicals and Journals National and International totaling 135 to provide latest Information and developments on various technical and non-technical subjects to students and staff members. In addition to the above, Library is subscribing for News papers like The Hindu, The New Indian Express, Dinamani and Dinamalar and Employment News. There is also a Book Bank attached to the Library and it has a total No. of 704 Books on technical and General Management subjects. The books are used by the SC, ST students during the whole semester and returned at the end. The Library is very well patronised and on an average 400 students and 50 staff members are making use of the facilities each day.

Books Issue
It is obligatory on the part of all the students of the college to be members of the College Library.
Reference books will not be issued for taking out.
The students are eligible to borrow only 2 books for UG and 4 books for PG at a time from the library. They shall keep the books for a maximum of 15 days.
Renewal of the books for a student cannot be made for more than twice (i.e. a student can retain a book with him for a maximum period of 45 days only even after renewal). If there is demand for the books they should be returned on due date without any request for renewal.
Meritorious students will be given extra Library Cards.
Before entering the library the students will have to deposit their personal belongings at the personal property desk.
Students should produce their identity cards along with their library cards while getting their books issued from the Library.
Loud consultations, animated conversations etc., are strictly prohibited.
The borrower will be held responsible for any damage to the books and other properties belonging to the library.
All Library users may obtain the books from the closed shelves with the guidance of the librarian.
No books shall be taken out unless it is entered in the issue register.
Reference books must be consulted in the library itself. No reference books should be taken out of the library.
Folding and tearing of the pages, underlining, clipping or annotating of the book is absolutely forbidden.
All books must be returned to the library two days before the close of the semester.
No student is allowed to sub-lend the books.
Before leaving the counter the student shall satisfy himself as to whether the books lent to him are in sound condition and if not he/she shall immediately bring the matter to the notice of the librarian. Otherwise, the last borrower will be held responsible for any damage to books and shall replace the book or pay such compensation as may be fixed by the Principal at his discretion.
The Transfer Certificate or Conduct Certificate will not be issued to a student unless he returns the books and the tickets issued to him and also pays the dues, if any.
Two library cards will be issued to each student and each card will fetch him/her one book. When the book is surrendered, the card will be returned to the student.
The books should be returned or renewed on or before the due date.
Students will be held responsible for the loss or damage of the library cards. If the card is lost or damaged the student concerned shall pay a fine of Rs. 50/- and get a duplicate card. The cards are not interchangeable.
Students should take proper care to maintain the library books intact without causing any damages. If a student happens to lose any book he should replace the book or he should pay an amount equal to 3.5 (Three and half) times of the cost of the book plus fine for the number of days taken to replace the book.
