PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

PEO 1- Technical Knowledge

To provide students with a strong foundations in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamental necessary to formulate, solve and analyze electrical and electronics engineering problems and to prepare them for post graduate and research studies

PEO 2-Professionel and communication skills:

To develop the capabilities in the students and to make their innovative and competent so that they can successfully function as members in multidisciplinary teams and to develop the basic skills to communicate effectively.

PEO 3-Computer Skills

To create awareness on the importance of IT skills with which one can successfully complete hardware and/or software related engineering projects to meet customer business objectives and engage in research

PEO 4-Social awareness:

To provide the students with a broad-based education so that they can accept diversity of opinion, better understanding of ethical issues, and develop a perspective of the profession and to create an awareness of social concerns and professional responsibilities in the work place.

On completion of Electrical and Electronics Engineering program, the student will have the following Program Specific Outcomes.

  1. Foundation of Electrical Engineering: Ability to understand the principles and working of electrical components, circuits, systems and control that are forming a part of power generation, transmission, distribution, utilization, conservation and energy saving. Students can assess the power management, auditing, crisis and energy saving aspects.
  2. Foundation of Mathematical Concepts: Ability to apply mathematical methodologies to solve problems related with electrical engineering using appropriate engineering tools and algorithms.
  3. Computing and Research Ability: Ability to use knowledge in various domains to identify research gaps and hence to provide solution which leads to new ideas and innovations.
